UV-Curing Surface Masks

Temporary metal masking resins in the Speedmax 7100 Series protect orthopedic implants, hardware, surgical instruments, and medical devices during finishing operations.

The resin UV cures in seconds and has a range of adhesion options depending on removal needs. Peelable grades remove easily at room temperature or after soak in 120°F water. Water-soluble masks wash off with water sprays or agitated baths at 140 to 180°F. Masks leave no toxic residues and biocompatible grades are available.
