Hollow-Bore Gearmotors

Oct. 7, 2004
H Box Hollow Bore Gearmotors feature a 1.00-in. hollow output shaft that can be connected directly to the driven load.

This saves space and eliminates expensive shaft couplings, chains, or sprockets, as well as chain guards and associated hardware commonly used to connect gear motors to loads. Special features include chill cast-bronze gearing, heat-treated and ground-steel worm, and gear ratios of 10, 20, 30, and 60:1. The gearmotors use synthetic USDA H1 food-grade oil and are sealed for maintenance-free operation. They are offered in single and three-phase configurations with 1/2, 3/4, and 1-hp ratings. The motors ship with torque arm and cover for the exposed end of output shaft and an optional output shaft kit is available.
