Corrosion-Resistant Probes

June 16, 2005
PTFE-encapsulated temperature probes are fusion bonded to a PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) covered cable.

The probes withstand immersion in aggressive and ultrahigh-purity chemicals at temperatures from ?328 to 536°F. The molded PTFE body shields the probe from permeation and cross-contamination. It can be configured with sensors in platinum RTD (resistant temperature device), thermisters, and thermocouples. Full material traceability is provided upon request.
