New Product: Industrial Ethernet Switches

April 24, 2008
The Stride industrial-grade unmanaged Ethernet switches and media converters are designed for PLC, HMI, and drive users.

The true plug-and-play devices start operating at power up and automatically determine and remember devices connected to port and route only messages through the appropriate ports for increased speed and bandwidth.

The Ethernet switches are available as five and eight port, and four and eight-port switches with one 100BaseF fiber port, and an Ethernet-to-fiber-media converter. The devices support 10BaseT (10 Mbps) and 100BaseT (100 Mbps) on RJ45 ports, and each port independently autosenses speed and duplex, interfacing with legacy (10-Mbps) or fast (100-Mbps) Ethernet devices.
