Ultrasonic Flowmeter

Aug. 24, 2006
The HTTP Portable Transit Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter clamps onto the outside of a pipe, does not touch the internal liquid, and provides instantaneous rate and accumulated flows for efficient fluid measurement.

The meter has bidirectional flow capability to measure forward total, reverse total, and net total; 0.5 in. and higher pipe sizes; and no moving parts. Communication is via a PC serial-communication port and infrared serial adapter. Software allows for configuring, calibration, and troubleshooting. The flowmeter comes with the transducer set, a 20-ft interconnection cable, one tube of acoustic couplant, mounting hardware, ac-power converter, auto-style 12-Vdc converter, infrared adapter, 4 to 20-mA interface cable, and an operation manual.
