Photoelectric Sensor Gives Four Sensing Modes

Feb. 17, 2005
The PhotoVirtu is a photoelectric sensor with builtin, teachable multimode technology that features four sensing modes, reducing downtime and sensor inventory.

Features of the sensor include diffuse, background suppression, polarized retroreflective and thru-beam modes, and light or dark operate functionality. PhotoVirtu's sensing ranges are 120 mm for diffuse to 15 m for thru-beam. The sensor has protection ratings of NEMA-4x and IP67 and is available in pnp or npn.
