Liquid-Level Switches

Nov. 3, 2005
A line of side and verticalmounted liquid-level switches control electrical circuits in response to changes in the level of a liquid.

The electromechanical devices operate with a float containing a permanent magnet riding on the surface of a liquid. A stem containing a reed switch is actuated by the magnet and guides the float motion. Switches come in brass, stainless-steel, and plastic models.
