New Product: Electro-Optic Sensor

Dec. 13, 2007
The Series 0507 rectangular sensor has a narrowly focused light beam that can detect objects through holes and gaps as well as closely lined-up or laterally approaching objects whose distance isn’t constant.

The small (5 7 in.) sensors have a scratch-resistant spherical sapphire lens that projects a cylindrical light beam with a <4-mm diameter for vertical or horizontal mounting. The selfcontained devices are short-circuitproof, operate at 10 to 30 Vdc, have a 100-mA output current, and are fully vacuum potted.
