The new 000308-02 low cogging brushless DC kit motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for applications that are sensitive to torque ripple.

The new 000308-02 low cogging brushless DC kit motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for applications that are sensitive to torque ripple. The smooth running characteristics of this motor make it an ideal candidate for high resolution printing, scanning, and positioning applications. At 60 rpm the motor produces a cogging torque of no greater than 1 oz-in. Servo Magnetics, Inc. uses a proprietary encapsulation process that protects the motor windings in harsh environments. The compact design measuring 3.6" X 1.25" creates a peak torque of 200 oz-in. A variety of electrical and mechanical options are available including windings for specific power requirements, drive-specific commutation and custom mounting configurations.
