High-flex silicone cables retain flexibility and electrical properties in –65 to 260°C temperatures and withstand exposure to high levels of ultraviolet, radiation, and ozone. The cable's thermal capacity reportedly exceeds that of typical PVC jacketed cables and specialized PTFE jacketed cables. The flat cables are available with wire gages from 4 to 44 awg. A proprietary extrusion process lets multiple wires be placed in the flat cable for precise control of wire spacing, insulation thickness, and overall cable shape. The silicone cable jacket and finely stranded wire conductors create very flexible cables. The cables, tested for millions of cycles, come in continuous lengths (cable only), or as assembles, complete with connectors.
