Transfer Cars

Nov. 9, 2006
A line of standardized transfer cars is said to provide an economical alternative to pallet conveyors, replacing long stretches of fixed-pallet conveyor or acting as the end-of-line conveyor for multiple production lines.

Transfer cars are motorized vehicles that travel from station to station on a straight, fixed track at speeds up to 400 fpm. The vehicles can operate round the clock in applications such as automated storage and retrieval systems.
