New Product: Right-angle gear reducer

Nov. 21, 2007
The LPK + right-angle gear reducer is the right-angle equivalent to the LP+ low-backlash planetary gearhead.

The reducer comes in five sizes with acceleration torque to 250 Nm, torsional backlash <10 arc-min, and 6,000-rpm peak speed. The unit has 10 reduction ratios from 3:1 to 100:1, with a 1:1 ratio also available. A rack-andpinion system and alpha shaft couplings are available. The reducer is suitable for use in Cartesian robots with a timing-belt drive; XY axes with a rack-and-pinion drive in medium- precision flatbed machines; and high-speed axes for feeding, cutting, slotting, erecting, and sealing.
