Machine-Tool Probe

April 27, 2006
The OMP60 machine-tool probe combines advanced optical transmission with simplified installation, setup, and programming, for easy retrofit to machine tools with existing probes

. A 360° infrared optical transmission system, with a 6-m range, let probes operate in any spindle orientation. A state-of-the-art modulated optical transmission method provides high resistance to light interference. The probe measures just 63 X 76 mm, thanks to miniaturized electronics. The OMP60's user-programmable parameters for multiple turn-on/turn-off options helps optimize specific machine applications. Designed to withstand harsh machine-tool environments, the OMP60 features IPX8 standard sealing and high resistance to false triggering induced by shock and vibration.
