Hydraulic Shock Absorbers

Aug. 4, 2005
The 6000 Series Cushioneers come in 0.05, 1, and 2-in.-stroke models.

A self-adjusting feature prevents operators from "tweaking" setup to exceed system capacity. These shock absorbers are hermetically sealed and may be operated in any position for millions of cycles without leaking. They self-adjust to give smooth control of impact energy for a range of 15 to 1,500 in.-lb. The use of constant-viscosity silicon fluid, instead of hydraulic oil, reduces speed variations from temperature changes.
