Disc Thermostats

June 7, 2007
The T10/T11 Series Disc thermostats provide temperature control and protection for high-power home appliances, HVAC equipment, and vending machines.

The devices have a manual reset with 24-A capacity and operate from 104 to 350°F. A temperature sensitive, snap-action bimetal disc can be either enclosed or exposed, depending on design requirements. The disc's characteristics and a contact wiping action minimize chattering, false cycling, and sparking. Thermal and electrical insulation prevents self-heating and ensures actuation only from the temperature of the controlled equipment or adjacent environment. The thermostats' input voltage is 120 Vac on 240 Vac, 25-A, resistive, 60 Hz, and it is rated for 6,000 cycles.
