New Product: Large-bore hydraulic cylinders

Jan. 24, 2008
The G-Series large-bore, tie rod hydraulic cylinders are designed for heavy-duty operations.

The cylinders are offered with bore sizes from 10 to 30 in., stroke lengths up to 300 in., and operating pressures up to 3,000 psi. The design can be customized for larger bore sizes, longer stroke lengths, and higher operating pressures. The units feature rolled tie rods, high-yield-strength pistons and tubes, and steel cylinder heads. The piston rod is secured for continuous performance and a piston and rod sealing system provides flexibility and is said to increase cylinder life. The new cylinders are offered in Vickers VG Series and Hydro-line HG Series products. Applications include presses, testing and simulation, marine service, and valve and gate actuation.
