New high-temperature Line Vac conveyors convert hose or tubing into a powerful in-line system for conveying materials at temperatures to 900°F. The air-operated conveyors feature large throat diameters for maximum throughput. The units eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end, resulting in high output flows on the other. Response is instantaneous, and regulating air pressure controls the conveying rate. Five sizes range from 0.75 to 2 in. Durable 303-stainless-steel construction resists heat, corrosion, and contamination. Optional 316 stainless is also available. Applications include sampling hot flue gases, exhausting fumes, and conveying soot, ashes, and hot debris. Other models for hopper loading, scrap trim removal, and tablet transfer and packaging are available.
