Servodrive Module

Sept. 14, 2006
The NI 9505 high-speed H-bridge servodrive module works with the CompactRIO embedded platform.

The new drive module connects directly to actuators such as fractional-hp brushed-dc servomotors, relays, lamps, solenoids, and valves. Features include lowpower-consumption and small size. The NI 9505 delivers continuous current of up to 8 A at 40°C (or 2 A at 70°C) with a peak current of 12 A at 30 V while achieving 98% power efficiency. Typical applications include consumer appliances, industrial controls for small to medium-sized machines, and automotive rapid prototyping.
