High-Gloss Coatings

Oct. 26, 2006
Powdura NSF-51 coatings are certified for incidental food contact.

The coatings, many of which are hybrids, combine the durable film properties of an epoxy with the overbake stability of a polyester. The coatings have good transfer efficiencies and rapid film building for complete coverage and protection in hard-to-reach areas. In addition to a clear finish, the coatings come in more than 50 colors, including ranges of gray, black, green, and beige. They can serve in refrigerated or nonrefrigerated food-display cabinets, food-display shelving and wire racking, and surfaces of food-processing equipment.
