NFPA Air Cylinders

April 13, 2006
A broad line of NFPA interchangeable air cylinders features oversized nonmetallic, composite rod bearings for maximum load support, wear resistance, and cycle life.

The cylinders are available in all the popular NFPA mounting styles, with bore sizes from 1.5 to 6 in. and strokes to 48 in. Cylinder heads and caps are machined from aluminum bar stock and black anodized for corrosion resistance. Standard cylinder barrels are durable, hard-coated aluminum alloy tube. Optional composite barrels are stronger, impact resistant, and self lubricating with a low coefficient of friction for smooth operation and minimal heat build up.
