Infrared Switch

Jan. 11, 2007
The OPB725 Series of reflective infrared switches has sensing distances up to 24 in.

The infrared LED and photologic sensor are housed in an opaque housing to reduce ambient light sensitivity. The sensor window is transparent to near-infrared wavelengths and protects the sensor in dusty environments. The sensor output is npn open-collector and features a maximum collector voltage of 30 V, collector current of 50 mA, and power dissipation of 250 mW. Operating temperature is from 0 to 50°C.
