New Products: Pneumatic Feedback Cylinders

Dec. 9, 2008
PFCN noncontact pneumatic-position- feedback cylinders resist moisture, oil, airborne debris, dust, and airline contamination.

PFCN noncontact pneumatic-position- feedback cylinders resist moisture, oil, airborne debris, dust, and airline contamination. Factory calibrated for 0 to 10-Vdc output, the cylinders are easy to install, even in multicylinder applications.

The cylinder’s proprietary magnetostrictive sensor (fixed inside) senses position as the piston moves back and forth, thereby eliminating the wear and tear from rapid short-stroke cycling. The cylinders come in 09, 17, 31, 50, and 70 bore sizes and strokes up to 9 in. Features of the devices include front nose, block front, universal mounting, bumpers, rod extension, low friction design, and a companion closed-loop PCS controller.
