New Products: Machine Replaces Chemical Priming for Difficult-to-Treat Surfaces

Jan. 9, 2009
The Enercon Plasma3 VCP surface-treating machine provides atmospheric plasmas for difficult-to-treat surfaces on wire, cable, and tubing

The Enercon Plasma3 VCP surface-treating machine provides atmospheric plasmas (plasma is the electrical ionization of a gas) for difficult-to-treat surfaces on wire, cable, and tubing. The machine eliminates expensive priming and batching as well as hazardous chemical surface preparations. The machine cleans, etches, and prepares a wide range of material surfaces that would otherwise be unresponsive to adhesives and inks. The machine treats conductive and non-conductive surfaces.
