The RE 65 brush-dc motor delivers 250 W and is suitable for applications where high efficiency, high power density, and a minimal operating noise are crucial.

The heart of the RE 65 is an ironless rotor for detent-free operation and minimal rotor inertia. The four-pole structure of the neodymium permanent magnets produces high torque and very quick acceleration times. Depending on the winding variation, the 65 × 130-mm cylindrical drive delivers 0.5 to 0.9-Nm nominal torque at 2,400 to 3,700 rpm. Preloaded ball bearings support low-vibration and low-noise operation.
