Only 50-mm long and 40-mm diameter, the OMP400 machine-tool probe is suitable for machines with short Z-axis travel and spindles as small as HSK32

Only 50-mm long and 40-mm diameter, the OMP400 machine-tool probe is suitable for machines with short Z-axis travel and spindles as small as HSK32. The probe reduces setup times and improves process control with accurate on-machine measurement. Strain gages in the device let it trigger at low contact forces for less bending of the stylus and little pretravel for greater accuracy. The device is sealed to IPX8 and withstands harsh machine-tool environments. Battery life provides up to 50 hr of continuous use.
