Turcon MF5 and MF6 are specifically designed for use in demanding environments, such as in the food and beverage industries

Turcon MF5 and MF6 are specifically designed for use in demanding environments, such as in the food and beverage industries. Manufactured from high-purity PTFE grades and additives, the materials’ high-gloss and low-porosity smooth finish reduces particle shedding and the risk of contamination buildup.

Features of the Turcon MF materials include –328 to 500°F operating temperature; low long-term compression set characteristics; good friction and sliding properties; high wear resistance; minimal creep and permeation; and compatibility with most chemicals, including organic and inorganic oxides, acids, alkalis, amines, esters, and steam.
