Hardware-independent VisionPro 5.2 software provides an easier-to-use version of PatMax technology — enhanced color tools and architecture to harness the power of multicore PCs

Hardware-independent VisionPro 5.2 software provides an easier-to-use version of PatMax technology — enhanced color tools and architecture to harness the power of multicore PCs.

New tools include SearchMax and Color Extractor. SearchMax uses color features to search for objects, which is useful in applications where geometrical data is insufficient to align the part. Color Extractor locates colored regions in complex scenes and is optimized for high-speed applications. The software includes multicore support for image-filtering tools as well as for PatMax and PatInspect. Users can now use any combination of frame grabbers or direct-connect cameras in a single application.
