Product Spotlight: Ultraminiature Pressure Regulators Have High-Flow Capability

The PRDHF and PRDHF8 are ultraminiature single-stage diaphragm flow-pressure regulators.

The PRDHF and PRDHF8 are ultraminiature single-stage diaphragm flow-pressure regulators.

The high-flow, 10-32-ported PRDHF is for applications where space and weight are critical. Weighing approximately 35 gm in brass and stainless steel and about 18.2 gm in aluminum, the nonrelieving regulator controls output pressures from 0 to 30 psig and is particularly suited to lowpressure regulation such as ½ psig. Maximum inlet supply pressure is 500 psig and both the inlet and outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF.

The manifold-mount PRDHF8 is similar except it weighs 52 gm in brass and stainless steel. The unit’s inlet is a / -24 UNF external thread and outlet port is through a 0.094-in.-diameter hole at the base of the regulator body, which eliminates the need for fitting and tubing connections as the regulator mounts directly to the surface of a manifold. O-ring face seals insure a leak-tight connection.
