Programmable Magnetic Encoder Handles 1 to 4,096 Counts/rev

Sept. 8, 2009
The EcoMag BRIx 58 magnetic incremental encoder can be programmed to produce 1 to 4,096 counts/rev.

The EcoMag BRIx 58 magnetic incremental encoder can be programmed to produce 1 to 4,096 counts/rev. Programmable parameters also include direction of rotation, line driver output (TTL or HTL), and index. With a diameter of 58 mm, the EcoMag BRIx 58 offers a maximum rotational speed of 10,000 rpm. The encoder requires virtually no lead time to adjust line counts, and application parameters can be reconfigured on the fly using software and a Windows operating system. Featuring no breakable optical components, the magnetic EcoMag BRIx 58 offers high shock and vibration resistance. Its rugged design resists contamination from dust and moisture and continues to perform in harsh and dirty environments.
