Model 4990A (Oasis) rackmounted modular signal-conditioning system offers management of up to 2,048 channels and support of multiple sensor technologies within the same application environment

The Model 4990A (Oasis) rackmounted modular signal-conditioning system offers management of up to 2,048 channels and support of multiple sensor technologies within the same application environment. It’s designed to interface with multiple sensor types, including piezoelectric (Isotron/IEPE type and charge output), TEDS (per IEEE P1451.4 protocol), and piezoresistive/dc differential technologies. Supporting the Model 4990A (Oasis) are a variety available signal-conditioning cards that include Series 428 two-channel piezoelectric Isotron; Series 433 three-channel piezoelectric Isotron; Series 436 threechannel, dc differential voltage; and Series 482B eight-channel, i-Teds Isotron. Cards are housed in a 16-slot, 190-in. rack, and may be used in any configuration or type. The unit can be computer controlled via serial or Ethernet communication and offers system configuration save and recall capabilities.
