A new line of lubricants and coatings consists of oils, greases, coatings, and solid lube. The lubricants feature Kyodo Yushi greases, which are used in applications such as Fanuc and Kawasaki industrial robots, vacuum applications, and extreme temperatures environments; Kluber Series of grease for high-speed, high-load, and high-heat applications, such as in eccentric rollers, drafting equipment, actuators and ball bearings; DuPont’s Krytox grease, a fluorinated, aerospace-grade grease suitable for use in everything from chemical processing, state-of-the art automotive applications, and in critical tolerances of aerospace military specs.Coatings and solid-lube options include the Ultra Dry Lube (UDL) process — a modified tungsten disulfide in lamellar form that can be molecularly bonded to any metallic substrate. UDL coatings only add a thickness of 0.5 microns to the metal substrate and have a 0.030 coefficient of friction, half that of graphite. Also available are the Lightning Solid Lube Polyethylene for food-grade applications and Lightning Solid Lube Graphite for extreme temperature applications from –250 to 667°F.Boca Bearing Co., 755 NW 17th Ave. #107, Delray Beach, FL 33445, (800) 332-3256, www.bocabearings.com
