Software simulates dynamic behavior of motorcycles
July 13, 2010

BikeSim analysis software simulates the dynamic behavior of motorcycles and scooters. Math models cover complete vehicle systems with 3D ground, aerodynamics, and lean and steer controls by the rider. The software can be used in labs to perform real-time testing with hardware-in-the-loop. Enhancements include full nonlinear aerodynamics, user-defined coordinate systems (to work with company design data), and support for conventional and unconventional suspensions, front and rear.
