A new lithium button-cell retainer is suitable for 4.8‑mm ML414 micro batteries. Designed for miniature electronics such as watches, hearing aids, calculators, keyless door-entry fob’s, memory backup, and small toys, the retainers are engineered with reliable spring tension for low-contact resistance while firmly securing the battery within the retainer.

The retainers are made of phosphor-bronze with solder tails outside the retainer body to facilitate visual inspection of the solder joints. Gold plating for lead-free and low-temperature reflow soldering is available.
