The linear shaft motor now offers a new parallel option to simplify cable management and routing when using multiple motors with one encoder and one servodrive.
The linear shaft motor now offers a new parallel option to simplify cable management and routing when using multiple motors with one encoder and one servodrive. Traditional systems require two drives, two controllers, and two encoders connected together. The parallel option provides the motors with mirrored cable exit locations (top), as opposed to standard motors which have identical cable-exit locations (below).
