With today’s unrelenting demands on performance, efficiency, security, and the environment, engineers are more pressed than ever for the most up-to-date educational information on manufacturing equipment and industrial automation systems. To meet this need, the Motion, Drives and Automation Conference offers engineers a convenient opportunity to obtain this important education during their time at IMTS.

The meeting will be held September 10 to 11 in Chicago’s McCormick Place, Lakeside Hall. Motion System Design and several sister publications, including Machine Design, are among the organizers, along with Hannover Fairs and the National Fluid Power Association. The conference, sponsored by Bosch Rexroth, features two in-depth conference tracks running simultaneously, Motion Control in Automation and Hydraulics & Pneumatics in Automation. Attendees who register for the two-day event will have access to both tracks. Researchers, executives, and engineering technology leaders will speak about topics from reducing costs and boosting machine efficiency to recent security advances in industrial automation.
