Single-axis controller with stepper drive
A new drive option for the DMC-30000 Pocket Motion Controller Series is the DMC-30016 from Galil Motion Control Inc.
• Combines a single-axis motion controller with a 1.4-A per phase stepper drive • Complements Brushless Sine Drive and Microstepping Drive offerings; better power efficiency, smaller size, and a lower price than previous single-axis controllers • 30-V stepper amplifier drives two-phase bipolar stepper motor in full-step, half-step, 1/4 step or 1/16 step • User configurable from 0.5 to 1.4-A per phase in 10-mA increments at 12 to 30 Vdc • 3.9 x 5.0 x 1.5-in. — no external heat sink required
