A new website provides information on sustainable manufacturing technology resources and encourages innovation among manufacturers, OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and engineers: www.boschrexroth-us.com/sustainable, the site of Bosch Rexroth, Hoffman Estates, Ill., features descriptions of systems developed for alternative energy sources. The new site also provides links to case histories describing how technology helps machine builders reduce waste, improve sustainability, use renewable resources, and conserve energy.

“As an engineer myself, I am convinced that the sustainable manufacturing of the future will be designed, implemented, and produced by engineers,” says Berend Bracht, president and chief executive officer of Bosch Rexroth in North America.
