The International Society of Automation (ISA), Research Triangle Park, N.C., is now accepting applications for its 2012-2013 ISA Educational Foundation Scholarships. Funds will be awarded to students worldwide in two-year and four-year colleges and universities, and to graduate students, who demonstrate outstanding potential for contribution to the fields of automation, instrumentation, and control. Scholarships support tuition and related expenses, as well as research activities.
Applications must be postmarked by February 15, 2012. Recipients will be chosen at ISA's annual Spring Leaders Meeting in 2012 and notified in July 2012. Scholarships of $5,000 are provided to the top two undergraduate students, while the amounts of other scholarships vary.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program in an instrumentation, systems, or automation discipline. Applicants must be full-time students and have an overall grade-point average of at least 2.5.
