Semi-automated palletizer - W. Amsler Equipment Inc.

Feb. 25, 2010
The modular unit nests empty bottles and stacks them on a skid.

The semi-automatic palletizer packages 8,000 bottles/hr and delivers 30% greater output than previous models. The 64-in by 132-in unit's heavy-gage tubular steel frame gantry permits precise transfer of bottle layers to the pallet for straighter pallets with less labor and no hoist crane.
The modular machine has a 20-ft standard conveyor that moves 50-ml to 10-L bottles into the palletizer. Each completed layer of bottles is shuttled to the pallet in the rigid frame gantry which lowers the pallet onto the skid with a two-speed electric lifting device. Vacuum and pneumatic clamps hold bottles and slip sheet supports in place. Left or right-side bottle in-feed and pallet dispensers are avalable options.
See a video of the unit at work.
