Aug. 19, 2004
The CMG Silicon Series motor, with an integrated electronic commutator,

BRUSHLESS MOTOR

operates like a conventional dc motor in that can run directly from a battery with a dc controller.

The motor accommodates the IEC80 and 4F17 hydraulic-pump mounting flange standards and has a wide range of shaft and bearing options. It weighs 14 lb with a 77/8 diameter and measures 5-in. long. Applications include hydraulic power units, robotics, marine propulsion, integrated starter/alternators, engine-generator sets, large centrifugal pumps, and power generation/cogeneration.
