The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA), Glen Ellyn, Ill., and its Educational Services Committee has developed a new education brand that ties all of its educational materials together.

The first move of the branding development was to rename the association's ESC Reports “Bearing Briefs” to better describe their role in delivering specific, single-topic technical expertise to bearing professionals and end users. They can be downloaded for free at bsahome.org and include graphics, charts, and references for problem-solving and/or trouble-shooting. There are now 20 briefs available on a variety of topics, with more to come in the future.

In addition to the Bearing Briefs, all BSA educational materials, including the In-House Training Guide (IHTG), newly revised BSA Lubrication Guide, and Certified Bearing Specialist program now sport the new BSA education logo to identify them as part of the full complement of BSA educational materials.
