Chip Senses Current

May 20, 2004
Current-sensor chips are isolated and come with fully integrated circuitry in one package, eliminating separate magnetic-circuit components.

The openloop, Hall-effectbased sensors are programmable and have low thermal drift. The ACS750LCA and SCA sense up to ±50A. Version L is rated from 40 to 150°C and Version S from 20 to 85°C.
