Coded Safety Switch

    PSENcode is a noncontact, coded safety switch that meets requirements for safety-gate monitoring.

    Coding protects against manipulation and meets Category 4 of EN 954-1. It is said to install quickly with no need to wire a second switch. Five actuation directions and a long (17-mm) switching distance ensure installation flexibility.

    Definite assignment of a switch and its counterpart makes it nearly impossible to manipulate the safety gate being monitored. More than 10 switches can connect in series, making them suitable for complex plants or machinery. The units expand the company's line of noncontact safety switches, safe relays, programmable safety systems, and a safe, open bus system.
