Common Profile Terminal Blocks

June 3, 2004
The UT 4 screw-clamp terminal blocks are 6.2-mm two-conductor feed-through terminals that include ground, diode, disconnects, and fuse blocks, all with the same common profile.

COMMON PROFILE TERMINAL BLOCKS

The common profile speeds up wiring, labeling and testing. In addition to the standard knife disconnect, a lever style is available that not only matches the length of the fuse block, but also the height, for a perfect profile match. The blocks incorporate a dual center channel to accommodate a toolless bridging system. A patented push-in jumper is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20 positions and provides for chain and skip-bridging. The wire-insertion area of the blocks is designed so that flexible conductors with or without ferrules can be connected without difficulty. Additional features include nickelplated copper-alloy metal parts to resist corrosion and the ‘Reakdyn Principle' product design to prevent screws from backing out. The plastic housings are polyamide 6.6 with a UL flammability rating of 94-V0.
