Company accelerates prototype production

Designers, project managers, and purchasing agents working for OEMs can get seven-day turnarounds for prototypes of sheet-metal parts, chassis, enclosures, stampings, and assemblies.

That’s the promise from Assurance Manufacturing, Minneapolis (assurance.com). The company says it will take customers’ electronically delivered CAD files in SolidWorks, Pro-E, or Autocad formats, then create all needed tooling in-house. With quotes available in 24 hr,parts, can be turned out in three to seven days, according to the company.
