ArMark Authentication Technologies highlighted its covert markers at Pack Expo International in Chicago earlier this month. These markers contain multiple layers of information, including text, in a particle smaller than the diameter of a human hair. These markers are specific to each customer, so they can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes.

The use of covert authentication markers to enhance product surety improves the validation and verification of genuine goods and helps manage brand theft, trademark infringement, piracy, counterfeiting, and forgery.

Such markers also aid in supply-chain control and risk mitigation for industries faced with global counterfeiting — estimated to result in billions of dollars lost yearly for manufacturers worldwide.
