Diaphragm Seals

Jan. 12, 2006
Reotemp chemical seals use a flexible barrier, or a diaphragm, to isolate a pressure sensor (gage, switch, transmitter, or transducer) from corrosive, abrasive, viscous, and crystallizing media.

Seal housings come in stainless steel, carbon steel, Hastelloy, PTFE, titanium, and other materials. Diaphragm materials include 316 stainless steel, PTFE, Viton, Monel, and tantalum and many other exotic metals. Threaded, flanged, in-line flow-thru, sanitary, and remote capillary systems are available.
