Digital Linear Actuators

Sept. 2, 2004
Portescap 20DAM Series digital linear actuators, billed as low-cost units, provide industry-leading linear force up to 108 oz. (30N); linear step resolution of 0.001, 0.002, and 0.004 in.; and 2.5 W of power for fast response times and precise positioning capability.

Typical applications are in medical equipment such as pumps, pipettes and scanners, as well as in instrumentation and HVAC. These linear actuators are available in captive and noncaptive versions, with unipolar or bipolar coil construction, and industry-standard frame sizes. Customized designs are available upon request.
