Electric Linear Actuators

New DMES linear actuators offer designers a high-value, high-performance electromechanical linear actuator that complements an extensive pneumatic product line.

This lets OEMs obtain many automation components from a single source. The DMES actuator can be used with an MTR-DCI motor that includes an integrated positioning controller, providing cost-effective and precise linear motion. For greater savings, the DMES comes without an integrated guide, ideal for light-load applications and those that already include linear guides. The compact unit offers high torque and load capacity, and feed forces to 3,000 N. Its fine-pitch leadscrew is inherently nonbackdriveable, eliminating the need for a brake in vertical applications. The leadscrew is integrated into the actuator body away from contamination and debris. An external metal sealing strip provides additional protection.

The KF version features a recirculating linear ball-bearing guide for high forces and moment loads and low friction, resulting in smooth and efficient linear motion. The GF version has a lower cost, lighter-weight friction guide that is quiet, resists contamination, and provides smooth linear motion. Standard interfaces let the actuators integrate into new or existing modular-axis systems.
