The L-O-X energy-isolation valve is designed for applications where corrosion or contaminants are a concern. Constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the valve is lockable only in the Off position (with a tamperproof locking mechanism) and has a large exhaust port for rapid pressure relief. Available in port sizes ¼ to 2 in., the valve provides direct manual operation by a simple push/pull of the handle.

With its self-draining capability, this rugged valve is suitable for wash-down applications, and its Viton seals offer protection against contaminant ingression. The valve’s pressure-sensing port allows the optional installation of a pop-up indicator or pressure switch, which provides a visual indication that pressure to the next downstream obstruction has been released.
